Filistin Halk Direniş Komiteleri’nin lideri Züheyr el-Kessi İsrail’in Gazze Şeridi’ne düzenlediği saldırıda öldü.

İsrail, topraklarına iki roket fırlatılmasına misilleme olarak Gazze’ye hava saldırısı düzenledi. Bir otomobili hedef alan saldırıda Züheyr el-Kessi ile bir kişinin daha öldüğü, bir kişinin de yaralandığı kaydedildi.

İsrail’e yönelik saldırıdaysa yaralanan olmadığı, saldırının tahribata da yol açmadığı belirtiliyor. Züheyr el-Kessi, farklı hiziplerden silahlı eylemcileri bir araya getiren bir şemsiye örgüt olan Halk Direniş Komiteleri’nin lideriydi.

El-Kessi, kendisinden önceki örgüt liderinin Gazze’nin güneyindeki Refah kentinde öldürülmesi ardından geçen Ağustos’ta bu göreve seçilmişti.

İsrail, Hamas grubunun kontrolündeki Gazze’den kendi topraklarına atılan füzelere, saldırıyla karşılık veriyor.

İsrail’in, Gazze Şeridi’nin güneyindeki Refah’a bu sabah düzenlediği yeni hava saldırısında 2 kişi daha hayatını

kaybetti. Böylece iki gün içinde düzenlenen saldırılarda hayatını kaybedenlerin sayısı 14’e yükseldi.
Saldırılarda hayatını kaybeden İslami Cihat üyesi 7 kişi için bugün Gazze’de binlerce kişinin katıldığı bir cenaze töreni düzenlendi.

Gazze’deki Şifa Hastanesi’nden alınan cenazeler daha sonra El Ömeri Camisi’ne getirildi. Öğle namazının ardından kılınan cenaze namazı sonrasında tabutlar yakınlarının ve Gazzelilerin omuzlarında taşındı.
Cenaze töreni sırasında İsrail’e lanet yağdıran Gazzeliler, silahlarla havaya ateş açarak, İsrail’i misilleme çağrısında bulundu.

İslami Cihat’ın askeri kanat üyesi Züheyr el Kaysi’nin cenaze namazının Refah’daki El Avda Camisi’nde kılınacağı, Nabluslu Mahmud Hanani’nin ise Gazze Şeridi’nin kuzeyindeki Tal el Zaatar’daki Şura Camisi’nde kılınan namazın ardından toprağa verileceği bildirildi.
